Shashi, Alex and I are not only good mates and rugby teammates, but our birthdays fall on the 16th, 17th and 18th of September. And this year, together we turn 100!

But even though it's a big birthday for us -- we don't want any gifts. We don't even want you to buy us a beer. We'd just like you to donate to this campaign to help bring people clean water in Rwanda.

In 2010 we joined the charity: water September Campaign for the Bayaka people of Central African Republic and our friends generously gave $6,504. This allowed us to fund one rehabilitated well in full, and help fund another water project.

Now, we're inspired to fundraise again. And this year we're trying to raise $15,000 to fully fund a tap stand in Rwanda that will serve 250 people clean water. Watch the video on the right to see where 100% (every cent) of the money will be going.

Give $29 for Paull's 29th, $33 for Alex's 33rd, $38 for Shashi's 38th, or $100 for the three of us! $65 can bring one person clean water in Rwanda, and if we hit our goal we'll fund most of a tapstand for a village of 250 people.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 7: Thanks to 73 generous donations and especially one huge one from Chase Edge, we hit our first goal of $10,000 raised. Shashi and I can now have a beer (yes!), and we're now upping our goal to $15,000 -- the full cost of a tap stand that will serve a full village of 250 people clean water. Let's get there!
