On September 14th Avery is turning one...it's been an amazing year for her and for us...

I read about Scott Harrison and the September Campaign for Charity: Water last year while I was pregant. As I looked forward to Avery's coming into the world in September, I knew that we would have to help in her honor... Instead of accepting gifts for her on her first birthday, we'd like to share our blessings with all the families with little growing babies -- like ours! -- but don't have access to clean water...

A billion people in the world are living without clean water. Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. The lucky ones won't, but still have to walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

Our birthday wish for Avery is not for more gifts; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it.
