Decisions I will make on any given day:
-jeans or khakis?
-tall skinny java chip frappuccino or grande upside down caramel macchiato?
-bike or walk to class?
-call in sick to work or suck it up and go in?
Decisions nearly a billion people make on any given day:
-red shirt or red shirt?
-bacteria-infested river water or stagnant puddle water?
-walk once for 3 hours to get water or twice for 6 hours to get more water?
-sell my body or stand by while my kids starve?
How often do we make the decision to collect clean drinking water instead of going to class? For millions of women and children around the world, sacrificing education or work is the only way to get the water they so desperately need. Nearly 1.1 billion people on earth lack access to clean drinking water, something most of us take for granted.
But things don't have to stay this way. If we meet our campaign goal of $5,000, 250 people will be provided with clean water for 20 years. Not only will 100% of the proceeds go directly to the water project, but upon completion of the well we will receive GPS coordinates on Google Maps and pictures from the site.
Please UA, help us make an impact in ending the world water crisis and prove there is more to Alabama than just football.
We brought clean water to:

LEARN ABOUT THE WATER CRISIS
Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
