I am turning 23 on June 22, 2011 and instead of making my birthday all about me, I want it to be about the individuals that will die young because of the diseases they get from dirty water. There are over a billion people around the world who don’t even have one of the most basic needs for human survival—clean drinking water. The water crisis is global and severe but we can make a dent in that! (Watch the video!)

I ask that you consider donating $23 to families who don’t have clean water to drink. Any amount, even $1 will help. $23 will provide clean water for 1 life for 20 years! With $2,300, we can make clean drinking water accessible for 115 lives! If we surpass that, all the better! We will save more lives and more children will have the chance to live long enough to have a 23rd birthday, just as I will.

Make this my most meaningful birthday ever by helping me achieve my goals of raising awareness about the water crisis (please share this page to your friends), encouraging others to help, and raising at least $2,300 for clean water.
