Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty.

Here in the United States, we use about 400 billion gallons of water each day. That means the average family of four is responsible for about 400 gallons per day!

But imagine if you had no clean water. Imagine sweating and straining to haul contaminated water back to your family. Imagine suffering from preventable illnesses like worms, dysentery or other diarrheal diseases.

Here we thought we were doing the world a favor by turning off the tap when we brushed our teeth.

After learning more about Charity: Water's work, DFC knew we had to help and make a dent in the global water crisis. We are starting a campaign to raise $5000 to build clean water projects for people in serious need.

The great thing about donating to Charity: Water, is that 100% of our money goes directly to the water projects, and when the projects are finished, they'll show us the communities we've helped.

These are real people, real problems, and a real possibility for us to make a difference.
