On Friday 6/29, we're throwing a party at FRED Wildlife Refuge on Capitol Hill. We're inviting people from our favorite communities to come out and party like heathens. Mingle and shake your tail feather with people from the startup world, design and UX'ers, bicycle punks, social media mavens, social impact and nonprofits, and local musicians. The goal is to raise $5,000. This is enough to bring water (typically through a well) to a community that doesn't have access to clean water.
In the tradition (http://www.charitywater.org/blog/wwd-2012/) of Charity: Water parties, we'll be celebrating a bunch of birthdays at the event, including our own. Have a birthday in June/July? Pile on and give up your birthday to Charity Water too!
