Kimberley brought clean water to Gbango I Community.
This campaign raised $104.
That money is hard at work in the field.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to those in need. In 18 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
Oh! Thank you for visiting my page.
I'm turning 26 soon, and I have accumulated a pretty pile of whimsical, glow-in-the-dark, and candy based whatsery over the years. And I LOVE all these things, they are excellent - but I don't actually NEED them, even though sometimes it might seem like I really do.
What a conundrum! But don't worry, we can work this out:
So, let's say you are wandering around and you come across a glow-in-the-dark candy dinosaur. It can also be used as a stamp or a necklace. If you put it in water overnight it becomes an 8" x 12" portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
And only $2.95.
Kimberley definitely needs this in her life. Right?
Yes (YES!) but more importantly, No.
I think the best thing to do here is to just tell me that the thing exists (knowledge is the greatest gift. diagrams are encouraged) and then pass that $2.95 on to Charity:Water instead.
Why charity:water? Has the council ever had to turn off your water supply for like, one hour? Unbearable. Exactly.
$20 means one person can get clean water for 20 years. That's good value*. If you would like to contribute, there will be a collection jar for coins at our house. If you're lucky there might even be some pictures/reports for you to look at of amazing things that you didn't even know existed.
Love from Kimberley.
*if you live in a 'nothing for free' kind of universe, don't worry, there's a charity:water shop. Every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.

Learn About the Water Crisis
Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
