So here's the thing, as a child, I had a dream to one day travel to Africa and live in mud huts and help people build wells (after I watched Nat Geo's doco on drought in Africa) and I've turned 27 and that dream doesn't quite look like it could be a reality any time soon. HOWEVER, someone else has made it possible that I can partner with them in order to see that dream fulfilled.

Would you join me, partner with me to help see my dream fulfilled (sorta) and make a difference in the lives of all these people who don't ask for much except to live beyond the age of 25 and have a family.

So I was thinking, since my birthday is over now and Christmas & New Year is just around the corner, why not give the gift of water. $1, or $10, $20, $100 - It's not going to me, though. All of it is going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

My birthday wish this year is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year.
