Issaquah brought clean water to Tsebegela Community and 1 other project.
This campaign raised $8,484.
That money is hard at work in the field.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to those in need. In 18 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
Thank you so much everyone who was involved with this fundraiser. A special shout out to our anonymous community member who gave us the final push to reach (and exceed!) our goal by donating $2,000. If you are reading this right now, please know that Issaquah High School is forever thankful for your kindness. You have changed the lives of over 250 people who were born into a position much different than ours. You are an H2O Hero.
IHS charity: water team
We are unbelievably lucky.
50% of schools all around the world don’t have access to clean water- something most of us take for granted. Upon realizing the prevalence of this crisis, Issaquah High School set out to make a difference. If we meet our goal of raising $5000, we can fund the construction of a well that will change the lives of 250 people forever.
But we can't do it alone.
The name “Issaquah” originates from the sound native birds made as they flew over water. Throughout our city's history, water has been intertwined with the very fabric of our community; it has let us develop and prosper. Clean water has been essential to our past and present. Together, we can make it part of someone else’s future. Thank you.

Learn About the Water Crisis
Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
