This campaign raised $10,350.
That money is hard at work in the field.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to those in need. In 18 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
Thanks to all the contributions from my September Birthday Campaign, TWO entire villages in India will get clean water for the first time in their lives! That is INCREDIBLE! That means mothers will not have to walk for hours collecting unclean water that is likely to make them sick. Children can spend more time in school getting an education rather than walking for water. Simply put, this means there is HOPE. Hope for a better, healthier tomorrow for so many people in India because of each donation (big or small) in this campaign.
I would like to offer my most sincere THANK YOU to those of you who contributed to my birthday campaign. We made a tremendous impact in two villages, but I am confident from the overwhelming response, that we can do even more!
As this is the season of giving, I'm extending my campaign to the very-reachable goal of $10,000 - an amount that would provide water to a whopping 24 households - an entire community!
We are SO close to reaching our goal and I'm confident that with this final push we can truly make a difference for those in need this holiday season!
Read below to find out how to get involved and win some prizes! 100% of your tax-deductible donations go directly to charity: water's local partner in Orissa, India, Gram Vikas. Throughout the process, you will receive unique digital media notices so you can see exactly what your contribution has created.
I look forward to meeting some of the winners and watching the campaign unfold as we reach our goal. Therefore, without further ado, I give you... (drum roll please)... the NEW and IMPROVED:
