Zanette brought clean water to Bakota Liberté Community.
This campaign raised $704.
That money is hard at work in the field.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to those in need. In 18 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
September 22nd is my birthday. I'm celebrating like never before.
Did you know your body can't survive one week without water. In most parts of the United States, water is easily available; water is held in separate tanks and reservoirs. However, in other parts of the world, communities rely on water from polluted rivers, lakes and, in some cases, unsafe wells or piped water supplies.
In rural Africa, women spend 26% of the day collecting water. The women walk five miles or more to get to a water source. During the dry season, the women may have to walk longer to get one container of water.
I'm asking for $20 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund sustainable water programs in Central African Republic. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $5000 by my birthday, September 22.
Please consider helping me in being a part of the solution!

Learn About the Water Crisis
Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
