Read Mission Statement

In April 2013, Cory read about a young girl raising money to support CharityWater. Before she reached her goal the young girl passed away. Cory was so moved by her young age and the fact she never saw her goal met, he decided to set up an account asking family and friends to celebrate his birthday by foregoing gifts and instead making a donation towards helping families in developing nations to have access to clean water.

On October 31, 2013, Cory passed away at the age of 36 due to a massive heart attack. His family would like to continue Cory's desire to see families have clean water. Please give. Thank you!

CharityWater promises:

100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.

This campaign brought clean water to Kien Kaes Pir Community, Cambodia.

Learn about the water crisis

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
