Read Mission Statement

My dear friend,

Assalaamou 'Alaikoum (Peace be Upon You)

Every day that God blesses us with, we should think of how we can serve Him. One verse in the Qur'an has always resonated deeply within me:

"And spend of your wealth in the cause of God, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for God loves those who do good. (2:195)"

For instance, as you drink water every day, think of the millions of people that walk miles every day just to get water to drink. The children that skip primary school to lug 40-pound Jerry Cans on their backs. The family members that try to nurse their brothers and sisters back to health after a waterborne illness has infected them.

We all go through daily tests from God, yes - but it pales in comparison to what millions of people do just to stay alive.

Let us help them. Our mission is to raise $5,000 in the next three months, God Willing. I'm asking that anyone that would spend $4-5 on a cup of Starbucks coffee or something similar instead recognizes the struggle of many by donating to clean water projects. Every penny you give will go straight to building wells in developing nations, God Willing.

While the angel on your right shoulder will be able to note your good deeds in the Path of God, we'll be able to track the community we affected after the campaign has finished.

You've supported many good causes for the sake of God in the past. Now, I'm asking that you support people who need it desperately so that on the Day of Judgment when God asks whether we helped those who were in need, both you and I can say "Yes, Our Lord, we did."

Please help humanity make a dent in the global water crisis, by the Grace of God. Thank you.

Learn about the water crisis

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
