Orbitz for Water

Read Mission Statement

There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

From Wikipedia: "[Orbitz] was introduced around 1997 and quickly disappeared due to poor sales. The drink was marketed as a "texturally enhanced alternative beverage" but some consumers compared it to a portable lava lamp.""

Drinking a 17 year old soft drink may sound gross, but it's still far cleaner than the water that millions have to drink every day.

100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.

UPDATE 1: $1337 goal reached! Enjoy: https://vimeo.com/94785309

UPDATE 2: $2000 reached! https://vimeo.com/94910827

UPDATE 3: $2,500 raised! I have made the prison wine-- https://vimeo.com/95216643 -- and will be drinking it soon.

UPDATE 4: Reached $3000! Duran consumed! https://vimeo.com/97762732

TARGET 4: I will eat hákarl (fermented Icelandic shark) with a brennivín chaser if I hit $4000.

Learn about the water crisis

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.

I don't really want you to have to drink prison wine, but I enjoyed the Orbitz video so much I'd feel bad not donating.
