Women are the ones who usually have to find and carry the water their families need, particularly in sub-Sahara Africa. Women and girls. A large portion of their day is taken up by just getting water - whether it's queuing in a long line every day (sometimes multiple times a day), or walking long distances, women and girls in these environments spend MOST of their time getting water for their families.
