Stone Hollow neighbors,

Most of our neighborhood has now felt the effects of a lack of easily accessible, clean, safe water for a little over 24 hours. During that time, did you happen to think of the millions of people in the world who never have access to these basic necessities we so often take for granted?

I did.

This is why I have decided to pledge a simple $5 per month to charity:water to help provide clean, safe drinking water to people all over the world. And, I invite you to join me in this initiative.

It is easy to take things like our water supply for granted. Luckily, it's also easy to pledge $5 per month — the equivalent, perhaps, of one beer at the local bar or a few bags of potato chips — to support a great cause.

There's no pressure to donate, but I felt compelled to do something and thought some of you might want to join me.
