Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.

Private donors cover our operating cost so that 100% of all public donations can go directly to water project costs.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

On Sunday September 22nd at 10am Awaken Westchester Church and Hillside Church will be partnering together in a fundraising walk. Instead of our regular Sunday morning church services, we will be walking to raise money in support of charity: water's work around the world.

Our walk will begin at Westchester Turf and Tennis at 5 Browns Lane Hawthorne, NY.
You can register to participate in the walk and after party here: https://tinyurl.com/AwakenWalk
(You can register your whole family one one page; just make sure to note everyone’s name on the notes section)

As our church members spend the morning walking, we are asking for friends and family to support our walk through financial donations. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

We would appreciate any support you can provide in our goal to raise $4,000 which will give access to clean water for 100 people in need.

Thank you!
