Erik's Birthday Campaign

Erik's Birthday Campaign

Read Mission Statement

As some of you know, I'm not the biggest fan of my own birthday. I probably have a rant about it somewhere on social media, but hopefully, this will make all of us feel a little better. Leading up to and a little past my birthday, December 4, I am campaigning to raise money to provide clean drinking water to people in developing countries.

"Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped."

Seriously, anything will help. Make birthdays a little less about one person and more about what we can do as a community. If you guys want to "get me something", please donate to this amazing cause.

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
