Scott's 37th Birthday for Rwanda

Read Mission Statement

Six years ago, I launched charity: water on my 31st birthday. I'd lived selfishly for too long, and my birthdays had always been about me.

I wanted to use my birthday for good, and instead of presents or gifts, asked my friends to donate my age in dollars (or whatever they could)... I raised $59,000 and realized we'd stumbled on a powerful idea. Since then, people around the world have turned their birthdays into giving moments.

This year, I'm doing it again (surprise!), and want to raise $137,000 for the people of Rwanda.

I've been on the ground there with our unbelievable team, and we're dead set on getting 100% of the people in the Rulindo district clean water.

Please watch the short video we just made (to the right of this text) to see what your donations will do!

I'll spend my birthday (september 7th) in Rwanda, and for anyone that can give $1,037 or more, will make a special video and give you a shoutout.

Thanks so much for your support. As always, 100% of the money goes DIRECTLY to Rwanda and you'll be able to see photos and GPS of the projects we build together!
