Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.

Private donors cover our operating cost so that 100% of all public donations can go directly to water project costs.

This campaign brought clean water to Shumelo Spring Community, Ethiopia.

We turn on a faucet. Presto. Clean water. Nearly a billion people live without. You and I can change that.

We grew up with water, everywhere. The sinks, the bath tub, the garden hose. Yet millions —make that almost a billion people — live without.

Clean water changes everything. It affects health, education, self-respect, and so much more.

We can bring pumps and filtration systems into communities and pipe clean water directly to villages. We can eliminate the need to walk miles to a polluted well or mucky river. We can change lives!

Will you help me do it? Please consider clicking the "Donate Now" button (at left).

As for me, I'm a writer — so, to the highest contributor on my campaign, I'll provide a free press release or writing project valued at up to $250. Don't need a press release? I'm sure we can work something out.

100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. (In-kind corporate donations pay for office space, payroll, and even the credit card fees, so every penny of your donation will go directly to help fund clean water projects.)

Ask your family, your friends, and your co-workers to donate through this campaign page, or maybe you'll create a Charity:Water campaign of your own? Either way, we can make a difference. Let's do it today.

BTW, here's my latest blog about charity: water and their brilliant marketing campaigns. Check it out — AFTER making a donation, here, of course. And thank you.
