Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

MY PROMISE TO YOU: Since I am trying to get healthy and fit in my own life, my goal is to be doing something positive for others too. Selfish is a word I never want to be used to describe me. My family has always been about giving back, and water is a passion of all of ours. I did a term-long project on water, and even ran my own hour long seminar on this stuff. IT IS IMPORTANT. AND it is important to always give back, or pay it forward, or both.

My goal is to raise $20 for every workout I complete. I'm currently doing the INSANITY Program through Beachbody. This means 54 workouts and $1080. WHICH HELPS EXACTLY 54 PEOPLE!! How awesome is that?

Also, I want to join the charity : water team where every race or competition I do, I donate the amount of the registration fee to charity : water.

AND I want to start doing some Challenge Groups based around Health and Fitness and giving back.
