goal
There are so many things we take for granted.
Imagine if you did not have anything to drink. Then you have to walk three hours to get water. And that water is full of bacteria. You drink it anyway just because you are so thirsty.......scary thought isn't it?
Every week, millions of women and their children walk more than 14 miles just to get water for their families. Most of this water is contaminated, but it's the only water they have. They take the chance of contracting deadly diarrheal diseases with every sip. There's nothing they can do to change this.
So, what can we do?
My mission is to raise $500. I am hoping with the help of my surf team (Surfers For Christ), my friends and family, I believe I can attain this goal.
The best part: 100% of everything we raise will go straight to building water projects in the field. Then, when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us just where they are and who they're helping (with GPS coordinates, photos and other details). We'll be able to see the communities we've impacted.
Help me by donating $10 or $20. Get crazy and donate $30!!! Just know that 100% of the money goes directly to giving water to people that don't have it.
Happy Birthday Bro!
Dang, there goes my money for surfing lessons :)
