The things that I am most grateful for in my life are my health, happiness, friendship, and education. When someone asks me what I want for my birthday, I find myself at a loss for words. I have an amazing family, I am the healthiest I've ever been, and although I do have my "days", I am a happy and blessed woman.
Think about the people in Central African Republic (or any other struggling countries, for that matter). What do you think they would say in response to that same question..."What would you like for your birthday?" CLEAN WATER, perhaps.
This year for my 22nd birthday, I am asking you to donate money to Charity: Water, in the hopes that we will have done something bigger than any birthday gift imaginable.
