It's my birthday and all I want is for everyone to have a drink. So help me raise money for a well.
My birthday is almost here. And all I want to do is drink, drink, drink.
So help me raise money for Charity: Water!
I always wanted to do a Charity: Water campaign because clean water is such a vital cause. Even though I live in Brooklyn, I live in a rundown apt in Crown Heights (by choice!) where periodically we won't have water, or the water is brown, etc.
And I drink from the tap, so I get thirsty on those days but I refuse to buy water from a store because I hate corporations profiteering from water that they stole from THE people. So I just drink alcohol instead.
Anyways, that is to say in my own small way I relate to communities who don't have access to clean drinking water. It would mean a lot to me to help raise funds for a well for them. Everyone deserves clean water that doesn't cost $5 a bottle. Won't you drop a few bills this way? And I will buy you a drink next time we hang.
