There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

As charity: water works with Keurig to unlock $730,000 of funds, the interns of the Growth team at charity: water have decided to start a campaign competition. Each intern has a goal of $500 ($1,000 with the unlock) and we'll be fundraising until the end of the year to reach our goals.

We'll all be going on a water walk in Central Park in November, midway through the campaign, to raise awareness and encourage more people to donate. Stay tuned for pictures and videos!

My charity: water story began in the eighth grade when my biology teacher explained the clean water crisis to our class. Almost the entire grade came together, fundraised more than $3,000, and was lucky enough to have Scott Harrison, charity: water CEO, speak at our school.

WHAT I'M DOING: As many of you know, I'm quite the coffee drinker. In order to raise money for Ethiopia, I will be giving up coffee until I hit my goal. So help me get coffee back into my life by donating to my campaign :)

So here's the thing about charity: water- 100% of our donations go to funding sustainable solutions to the water crisis. Once they've used the money we raised to help fund a water project, they'll send us pictures and coordinates so we can directly see how our contributions changed lives.
