Imagine you had no clean water. Imagine walking hours to the nearest river to collect water for your family -- water that's not even clean. Imagine having to give that water to your kids. While this might seem unimaginable, it's a reality for 800 million people in developing countries.

On Sunday 19th May, Aubrey (my sister) and I will be running the Copenhagen Marathon - a crazy challenge for two very unfit people whose last marathon was three years ago! With each step of the 42.1km, we will be raising funds to build a well in Central Africa for people in need and making a difference in the global water crisis.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
