Clean water is something many of us have never fathomed living without. But having access to clean water is considered a luxury for people living in developing countries. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday.
We got involved with charity: water to help change that statistic. We donated 1% of this year's sales to fund a water project from start to finish in Uganda. It will take approximately 18 months to complete and provide clean water to a village of over 150 people.
Now it’s our 4-year anniversary and to celebrate we’re starting a birthday campaign with charity: water to raise funds for a new clean water project in Orissa, India.
Please donate to our campaign -- even a dollar can make a significant difference.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
