I can hardly believe it, but thanks to you - all of you - this campaign has reached its initial goal! 28 lives will be saved because so many of you stepped up - and some of you anonymously! (Doing good things without bragging about it? Who does that?)

Donations are, of course, still welcome. I just wanted to say thank you for making this experience amazing - and it's not even my birthday yet!

It's almost here. The one I've always been waiting for: my golden birthday.

On April 28th, I'll turn 28. I'll be using the whole month leading up to it as an excuse to do Good Things: raise money, raise awareness, run charity 5ks and spread some Random Acts of Kindness. But this is a big one. If I can raise $560.00, 28 people will have access to clean water.

Almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday.

$28 is the magic number, but it would be stupendous if you could donate anything. This is a big goal. Every little bit helps!

Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
