We're incredibly grateful to have lived a full, healthy and gloriously happy year. But sadly, millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can change that.
We've decided to combine forces and celebrate our birthdays between August 21-October 21, when Alex and I are the exact same age--33.
We're asking friends, family and awesome loved ones to donate $33 for our birthdays.
100% of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in the Orissa region of India. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
