Ready access to clean water is a foundation for life sadly unavailable to many. We are helping to fix that starting in Nepal.
Over five million people in Nepal are without clean drinking water. The country is aiming to provide universal access to water and sanitation by 2017. This will only happen with outside charitable contributions. You will be amazed, however, at how much a difference we can make in the lives of millions of Nepalis.
Two people inspire this project: Siobhán Mc Feeney and Terry Trevino. Siobhán is an accomplished mountaineer and is climbing Everest in the spring of 2013. She and her husband Terry are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and want this climb to be an event that brings attention to an impoverished region of the world and inspires others to help the villagers of Nepal get the clean water that most of us take for granted. Paul and Kate Gaffney share that same passion and are excited to raise money for projects that will make an immediate difference.
So glad you are home safe - what a great step for humanity!
Phew! Glad you are home and so proud of your commitment to people in need.
Excellent project in every way. Very proud to call you a friend. Well well done.
