This year I had the incredible opportunity to actually travel to Ethiopia and see firsthand how charity: water helps communities in need (you can spot me in the lower left of this photo). It was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I returned with immense gratitude for what we all take for granted, and resolved to continue doing everything I could do to bring awareness and support to this issue.
Once again, I'm giving up my birthday to help raise money. So, no birthday presents please, just donations. Anything you can give is a huge help, and $30 gives a real live person – someone just like you – clean water for a year.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
