There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Last year for my 16th birthday I took a trip to the beautiful city of Los Angeles and that was amazing and one of the best gifts I've ever received. This year, for my 17th birthday, I want to do something different and try to help others instead of making it a day all about me.
I am very blessed in so many ways, such as a family who loves me, friends who are incredibly supportive, and an excellent education. Another blessing is having access to clean water just from a simple turn of a faucet that takes me less than five minutes. I do not have to travel several miles for water that isn't even clean.
Unfortunately, approximately 800 million people do not have access to clean water. Not having access to clean water causes life threatening diseases, the lack of proper education, and the physical labor in order to obtain water that is contaminated.
With Charity Water, 100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries. Charity Water funds their operating costs separately through a group of private donors, so 100% of all public donations will go directly to people in need.
Since it is my 17th birthday, I hope to raise at least $1,700!
