Did you know that every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Across the world, 800 million people don't have access to clean water. Let that sink in.

Little boys and girls drinking water, teeming with things like E. coli, leaches, and parasites. Many times throwing up and getting diarrhea because the water's so dirty. Not okay.

This is a simple problem with a simple solution. Raise money, clean the water, make people healthy.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who will help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

800 million is a hard number to grasp and it reminds me of the starfish parable.... There's a young boy throwing starfish back into the ocean and an old man approaches and says, "There are thousands. You can't possibly make a difference." The boy looks at him, throws another starfish in, and says "I made a difference to that one."
