Hey peeps! I've been training for the last year to run my first Ultramarathon: The infamous Finlayson Arm 50. It's a 54 Kilometre Trail-Running Race on one of the very hardest ultra courses in British Columbia coming up this Saturday, September 9th.

I feel exceptionally lucky to have been able to pursue a goal like this, so to share the love, I'm raising money so that other people can work towards their goals too - with the help of clean water! ...which I will be drinking a lot of during the course of my race. If you would like to donate, that would be amazing! Over the last 6 months, I've put in 300 hours of training, so therefore I'm going to put $300USD towards my campaign. If you have an extra 5 or 10 bucks kicking around, all of the money goes straight to the water projects it will be spent on. Charity Water's managing and organizational costs are already covered by corporate backers.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
