On September 23rd, 2011 I set a goal to raise $1000 to help bring good, clean drinking water to 50 people. You made it possible for me to surpass my goal.
A billion people in the world are living without clean water. Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 30,000 people will die this week alone.
With so much need, I have decided to "celebrate" my birthday for as long as charity:water will allow me to do so (November 8th) in order to raise more funds. The goal was met, but what else can we do if we set it even higher?
