When I graduated from high school I spent some time in India serving a mission - it was a pivotal moment in my life. When I got back I knew that all I ever wanted to do was to help people.

In October of 2018 Aveda revealed we would be working with charity: water and I was thrilled. I was even more thrilled to find out that we would be helping out communities in India - I knew in that moment I had to get involved.

Many people around the world don’t have the luxury of clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I am inviting you to help me end the global water crisis.

Please join me in my mission to raise a thousand dollars during Earth Month - some of you can donate more, some of you can donate less, but regardless, 100% of your donations will lead to clean water projects. When each water project is complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
