We are so excited to be married, but we also want to take the opportunity of our wedding to focus on our goals as couple. In addition to loving our family and friends well, we want to help minister to those in need around us and perhaps in other parts of the world. We intend to spend time and resources to try to make a difference through mission trips, but we can dramatically change some lives without ever leaving the country by bringing a community clean water.

We can sometimes forget how blessed we are to have clean water, accessible food, and the freedom to celebrate our marriage with so many friends and family in a wedding centered on God. However, many people struggle to find a basic necessity of life: clean water. We can make a difference.

One reason we really like Charity Water is that 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects. The operation costs of the organization are covered by private donors. When the water project that our money is going towards is complete, Charity Water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. We ask that you consider giving towards this cause as part of or in lieu of a gift to us.
