Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's change that! Please help :)

In a few weeks I'll be moving back to Norway, and my birthday is almost here as well. Instead of organizing a normal birthday party with presents, I have spoken with Mrs. Sanders-Jones about hosting a combined Farewell and birthday party for the class in Mitchell Park on Friday the 29th at 1 PM. There will be ice cream, donuts and fun, but I do not want any presents. Instead I'm hoping that you would like to help me raise money for clean water.

I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped. I think this is really cool as we can follow the water project together from across the globe.
