KESSLER KIDS MAJiK WELL #10:

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. In fact, on Sunday December 8th at the Park Tavern from 2-6pm at Kessler Kids MAJiK, we will be ice skating on water that is cleaner than more than half of worlds population's drinking water. Think about that! The communities that we will build this 10th well in will serve a community of over 300 people who have to walk more than 5 hours each day with clay pots on their head to retrieve water that is less clean than the water that we are blessed enough to ice skate on with our friends to celebrate the Holiday Season. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is cleaner than what these people we are going to build a well for drink on a daily basis.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

As a young girl, I read the book "A Long Walk to Water" which inspired me to start raising money to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world. In the past 9 years, thanks to your generosity, we have been a part of or exclusively build 9 wells in Africa and India. This campaign will add another well helping over 300 people have access to clean drinking water.....forever!!!
