I'm turning 20 and I'd like to make that possible for more people. This morning when I turned on the faucet, I thought of the 663 million people that don't have that privilege. 663 million is a huge number, to put that more in perspective that is twice the population of the United States that has no access to clean water. Many people have no idea this is going on.

Imagine your life if you lived in Ethiopia. If you are a child or a woman, you wake up, begin the duties around the house and begin walking. You walk for hours, while walking you may fall many times due to the steep hills or even encounter dangerous animals. But this isn't the worse part. When you finally arrive at your destination (a swamp, river, etc..), you then wait 7 hours in line to fill up your yellow fuel can, and that's on a good day. You look at your can of water and to you it looks normal, because to you the color of water is brown. Once you have your 80 pound can of dirty water, you start your journey of hours all the way back to your village.

This is everyday for children and woman in developing countries that have no access to clean water. These women and children won't have the opportunity to get an education or to do anything other than collect water for their family. For the people in these communities Clean Water Changes Everything.

It's my 20th birthday and I'm excited about being able to make a difference.
