Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. I'm gonna help change that!

Dear Friends and Family,

My birthday is around the corner. I don’t usually ask for presents, but this year I’ve decided to make an exception.

This year, I'm pledging my birthday for charity: water. I’m asking my lovely friends and family to donate to charity: water and give clean water to people who need it, instead of giving me gifts. I have lived 44 amazingly awesome years, and I only hope that others can be as blessed as I. These contributions are not just a drop in the ocean, we can all help contribute to building a water well for a community that needs it, providing up to 100 people with access to clean water!

· Or that diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war?

What's really awesome is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water project costs in the field, and charity: water will prove every single dollar. When the project we help fund is complete, they'll send us a digital completion report with GPS coordinates and photos of the community we helped.
