Aria has been asking about hurricanes and clean water recently, as she has cousins affected. A family friend told her about millions of people in developing countries who walk up to two hours a day to collect water for their families -- water that’s not even clean.
Aria has decided to give up presents for her 6th birthday and is asking her family and friends to help build clean water projects. Charity Water provides simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water sends photos and GPS coordinates of the exact community we helped.
This campaign brought clean water to Nivacula, Mozambique.
