Hi everybody!

Thanks for taking a minute to read this. I know everyone is hella busy this time of year.

Here's the thing: I don't want anything for my birthday.

I don't want anything for myself, I mean. I'm in a wonderful moment in my life. I have a job I love. I have a place to live that is supportive and kind and filled with life. I am reconnecting with old friends, and I'm making new ones. I have a Jewish community and a mindfulness community and a horsemanship community that all support me.

I may not have everything I want, but right now, this moment, I have absolutely everything I need.

So instead of buying me something or venmo-ing me something for my birthday, I'd like you to do this instead.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I would love your support.

Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

I don't want to go out for my birthday, or be the reason for anyone's anxiety about getting me the "perfect" gift. I just want to know that my birthday is going to improve someone else' access to water, something so basic that I have always so taken for granted.
