Hey friends -
During Advent, the Church focuses her attention on the in-breaking of Christ's presence into history... an in-breaking that heals, redeems, and restores human life to the dignity that God intends.
Two years ago as a community in partnership with Charity: Water we raised $10,000 to drill a well in the Tigray region of Ethiopia in order to provide easy access to clean water for hundreds of people there. This year, we're partnering with C: W again trying to raise another $10,000. And what's neat this year is that Keurig Green Mountain has donated $740,000 to C: W to be unlocked by fundraising campaigns. Which means that every donation to our campaign will unlock a donation from Keurig for the same amount.
Awesome. We'll be able to reach our goal twice as fast.
