In a time when we are struggling with budget cuts at our schools and in our homes, we all need something to remind us of how fortunate we really are. We (and our schools) are all able to turn on the faucet and have fresh water whenever we are thirsty. We (and our schools) have access to baths or showers to clean ourselves as well as access to proper sanitation. I can't imagine being in a school without running water and bathroom facilities for our students - 50% of the schools in the world operate on a daily basis without these most basic of needs. I think it is our duty to help at least one of them.
