Can you imagine not having clean water to drink, or not being able to provide your kids with clean water?
That is the sad reality for many people. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build a well to provide an entire village -- over 300 people -- with clean water.
Will you please join me in supporting this cause?
With it being my 40th birthday, I’m asking if folks would be willing to give $40. But any amount -- larger or smaller -- would be very helpful.
Moreover, some friends and I have contributed a total of $5,000 in matching funds. So any gift you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
100% of the money will go toward clean water, and when our water project is complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

In the past month the remaining pledges posted, and I’m thrilled to officially announce that together we surpassed our goal, raising a total of $10,237! Charity: water will now dig a well and provide an entire village—over 300 people—with clean water. Thank you for helping to make this feat possible!
Once our water project is complete (which I’m guessing takes some time), charity: water will send us GPS coordinates of the location along with photos of those we’ve helped. I can’t wait to see the brothers and sisters whom we’ve been blessed to be able to help. And I’m humbled and honored to be helping them with you.
