Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. Charity: Water is a Nonprofit organization that has helped many countries in Africa, North & South America and Asia.

By 2025, 1.8 billion people will be living in countries or regions with absolute water scarcity. Day Zero (April 12th) is fast approaching in a country that sits close to my heart. Taps will literally run dry in Cape Town, South Africa. People are limited to 12L of water each day. To put that into perspective in North America, we consume 85L of water per day on average. Next to oxygen, water is the most essential element to human life.

I started this fundraising campaign and pledged my birthday on February 25th (my goal date) to help Charity: Water build these types of projects around the world! 💧

Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, Charity: Water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
