There are 663 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Our volunteer community is thousands strong and there are so many of you who have reached out, eager to give your time to supporting our work. So, this fall, we'd love to have you fundraise alongside us!

Help us serve one million people in 2016 and make this the biggest year in charity: water’s history!

If we reach our team goal of raising $10,000, charity: water’s volunteer community will be featured on the Power of Ten page!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
1. Join the 2016 charity: water volunteer fundraising team and setup your own mycharitywater fundraiser.
2. Get fundraising. Think big, crazy and creative - you can do anything to fundraise for clean water!
3. Reach out to us. Have questions? Need some help brainstorming? Email volunteer@charitywater.org and we'll help you make your campaign a success!

THE PRIZE --> The top fundraiser will receive two (2) tickets (for you + a guest) to this year's charity: ball which takes place on December 5th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

ELIGIBILITY AND RULES
1. Your campaign has to be part of the charity: water volunteers group campaign to be eligible.
2. The winner will be selected based on fundraising totals at 11:59PM EST on November 30th but campaigns will be open until the end of the year.
3. Must be 13 years of age or older. Prize winners over the age of 13 and under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or authorized legal guardian who will act as their guest to charity: ball.

*PLEASE NOTE: We're only able to provide tickets to the gala. Air fare, accommodations and all other expenses will not be covered.

WEEKLY CHALLENGES
Our staff is so excited about what you guys are doing that they want to contribute! Each week, a charity: water staff member will be issuing a challenge, offering a donation to one winning campaigner as the prize. We’ll also send out weekly updates via email that will include the weekly challenge, the fundraising leaderboard and tips to help you campaign.

100% of the money raised from your campaign will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, you'll receive photos and GPS coordinates of the project and community you helped.
