800 MILLION PEOPLE LIVE WITHOUT ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER...LET'S CHANGE THAT!
We'll run for your donation!
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday...We can change that! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities impacted.
To bring awareness to our campaign, we will (as a LARGE group of tutu clad runners) be running Gig Harbor's Grinch Trail half marathon and 5K. Our group's goal is to reach $500, help us to surpass this and be an even bigger piece in Gig Harbor Gives ultimate goal of $1,000,000!
Gig Harbor Gives is helping charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and we're looking for people to help!
Please donate to our campaign. Help us play a small part in solving the water crisis.
Not running but will donate the entry:)
Way to go, girls!
Be sure to hydrate! ;)
