We all want to do something that matters don't we? And what matters more than empowering someone else to realize what's possible for them? What matters more than opening the way for people to find their purpose?

So for my 50th birthday, I told my husband; I don't want a party. I don't want a gift. I just want a year.

I just want one year to raise enough money to build a well that will give an entire community not only desperately needed access to clean water, but that will also, I believe, give each person there the gift of knowing they matter, they're cared about by people who don't even know them & that they have the power to grow, thrive & set their dreams in motion.

I've donated the first $1000 towards building that well - but I didn't want to do it alone. I wanted to include you because for my birthday, it's my wish to show the world what good people can do together. And just like you, it pushes me to keep going when I see other people share the good in themselves.

The amount doesn't matter - but the intention does. Will you be so kind, if you're able, to donate to this little project that will, literally, bring an entirely new life to these people and their children?

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
